Local Drought
Multi-storied, tall
forest of many straws
powerful forces
sucking dry the soil
scattered raindrops
greedily imbibed
minuscule drizzle
efficiently siphoned
no hydration
ever wasted
miraculous sipping
for sky-scraping existence.
