Heavy heads swaying
with gentlest breezes
cosmos in motion
flimsy stems, feathery limbs
pink, white, claret-red
in graceful motifs
then swinging wildly
with golden finches
in their trapeze mode
hiding, seeking, leaping
in balletic exploits
foraging for treats
darting bud to blossom
creating suspicion
that fun ensues too.
